Alright. Now that we have 20 members, we will begin our first contest.
This will be an ID Contest.
RULES
Anything is allowed really, just be sure that it's nothing too risque. This is an ID and it says a lot about our club and the image we portray to others who may want to join. So keep it at least remotely clean.
Please refrain from doing any couples, we don't want to seem partial to any specific Yamato pairing. There will be a pairing contest later for those types of fanart.
Leave your submissions in comments under this section or in comments somewhere appropriate in the group. You can also send a note entitled 'CONTEST' or 'CONTEST ENTRY' in your subject heading.
DEADLINE
The deadline will be September 30th.
PRIZES
Your ID will become the club's ID, at least until I feel the need to change it. Then another contest will be held.
Your winning entry will also be our club's Featured Deviation until the next contest.
You will get a request picture drawn by me, the group founder I also drew the picture for this contest. (I do't know about Admin. who is since I don't think she's been online, so I'm not volunteering her, unless she wants to)
The second place winner gets a request sketch by me (or May-VeggieGirl1 if she so chooses).
If this sounds like something you want to enter, feel free to speak up. Also, if you have any questions note the group or comment under this section.
I have a question in regards to the size limit? <_< My screen is ridiculous resolution, so I see larger DevIds that may be cut off on other screens; aka, what's the standard pixel dimensions??
It doesn't really matter. I can always chrink them down to make them fit into the club's ID space. As for the standard pixel dimensions for DA...I have no clue...
Get inspired by the human artificial body parts from the upcoming film "Repo Men" in theaters March 19th and create your own "artiforgs!" Check out how to enter and score some great prizes.
Nearly all of us, if not every single one of us, have come across a deviation that just has a disappointing '...'. Conversely, some of us have even come across a massive wall of text.
Whether we are the people who ask ourselves, "Is that it?", or whether we are the people who ask ourselves, "What can I say?", this guide will hopefully provide you with some insight in how to go about writing a good description for your deviations, a.k.a. your Artist's (or Author's) Comments.
If you agree with what has been mentioned in this article please it so that the admin may consider changing this feature, to what it was before when we could choose what resolution size we want our audience to view.
Dylan Cole is having a Contest on March 26th, 2010. He is the Concept Art Director for Transformers 3, Alice in Wonderland, Avatar, Tron Legacy, 2012, G.I. Joe, Clash of the Titans, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Memoir's of a Geisha, The Ring 2, I Robot, and Lord of the Rings. The winner will win a high quality female anatomy figure coutesy of Anatomytools.com [link]
